Meet our amazing staff

Ms. Joni

Ms. Joni is Little Lites Program Director. She has a heart for Jesus & for kids – & she works tirelessly to make sure all of our teachers & assistants are equipped to be the best they can be, so that all of our students can be academically & relationally prepared for their next steps in life. Ms. Joni oversees all of our staff, guides our weekly worship, & encourages the implementation of creative & fun centers. She is also the Founder & Owner of Little Lites, & has served as co-pastor of Hillside Church since January 2000.

Ms. Danielle

Ms. Danielle is Little Lites Program Co-Director. She works each day to make sure all our teachers are supported

Ms. Danielle is Little Lites Program Co-Director. She works each day to make sure all our teachers are supported, and all our students are loved. She graduated from the University of Nevada with her Undergrad in Social Work. She has worked with children for 30 years. She has a passion for helping children be the best they can be. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and being outside.

Ms. Alyse

Ms. Alyse has been apart of the Little Lites program for 10+ years. Through the years Alyse has grown to love teaching children of all ages and stages. Her teaching journey started as an afternoon float, progressed to lead teacher in the Pre-k program, and now she works as an administrator. Alyse is dedicated to equipping teachers and students with necessary tools to have a successful day. She works to bring kindness, positivity and peace wherever she goes. Outside of working at Little Lites, Alyse enjoys reading, days spent at Lake Tahoe and catching babies.

Ms. Addie

Ms. Addie is the Infant-Toddler Director at Little Lites. With her background in business and the care industry, she shapes our program enrollment, communication, and the adherence to regulations

Ms. Addie is the Infant-Toddler Director at Little Lites. With her background in business and the care industry, she shapes our program enrollment, communication, and the adherence to regulations. Her primary objective is to ensure that all children at Little Lites experience happiness, health, and love while enjoying the process of learning. She finds great fulfillment in working with children and infants, as their joy serves as a daily reminder of the happiness that God intends for us to experience. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Ms. Addie enjoys serving at her church, hiking, exploring natural hot springs, and creating lasting memories with her husband and children.

Ms. Kathy

Ms. Kathy enjoys seeing new places, reading a good book, & Bible study.

Ms. Kathy has been married to her wonderful man for 27 years. Together, they have two adult children, a boy & girl, & one granddaughter. She loves hanging out with family & friends, being at Lake Tahoe anytime of the year, & traveling. Ms. Kathy enjoys seeing new places, reading a good book, & Bible study.

Ms. Cynthia

As the infant program supervisor, Ms. Cynthia is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where infants can thrive and explore the world around them.

As the infant program supervisor, Ms. Cynthia is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where infants can thrive and explore the world around them. With a passion for early childhood development, her focus is on fostering emotional, social, and cognitive growth through individualized care and age-appropriate activities. Ms. Cynthia is committed to supporting each infant’s unique journey with patience, love, and attention.

Ms. Ashley

Ms. Ashley is our passionate and dedicated Kindergarten and First Grade teacher.  She is committed to fostering a love of learning in young children.

Ms. Ashley is our passionate and dedicated Kindergarten and First Grade teacher. She is committed to fostering a love of learning in young children. With a focus on creating a positive and engaging classroom environment, she strives to inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in each of her students. She believes that every child is unique, and she takes a personalized approach to support their individual growth and development.

All Little Lites staff members are certified in pediatric CPR and First Aid, with recertification occurring every two years. Additionally, each staff member undergoes a comprehensive background check and a TB test. To ensure ongoing professional development, all staff complete a minimum of 24 hours of Nevada Registry-approved continuing education annually.
