Ms. Joni is Little Lites Program Director. She has a heart for Jesus & for kids – & she works tirelessly to make sure all of our teachers & assistants are equipped to be the best they can be, so that all of our students can be academically & relationally prepared for their next steps in life. Ms. Joni oversees all of our staff, guides our weekly worship, & encourages the implementation of creative & fun centers. She is also the Founder & Owner of Little Lites, & has served as co-pastor of Hillside Church since January 2000.
Ms. Megan is the Lead Caregiver for our LADYBUGS 1/LB1 class, which is for the littlest of the littles (approx. 0 to 9 months.) She is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Social Work, & plans on working with children/parents within the foster care system. Outside of work, Ms. Megan loves concerts, hanging out with friends & family, & going to Lake Tahoe.
FROM MS. MEGAN:
My favorite part of working at Little Lites is seeing all the children grow & develop & getting to know families in my community.
Ms. Stephanie is the Director of Little Lites’ Infant/Toddler program. She’s also directly responsible for our bigger & more mobile LADYBUGS (usually those 9-24 months old.) Stephanie has a passion for early education, & a love for Jesus that is contagious. Ms. Stephanie excels at guiding her class using developmentally appropriate activities – she also showers her students with love & care, & is helping build in them a strong foundation of prayer. When Ms. Stephanie isn’t at Little Lites, she loves to travel with her husband, take pictures, & enjoy life to the fullest.
Ms. Kathy has been married to her wonderful man for 27 years. Together, they have two adult children, a boy & girl, & one granddaughter. She loves hanging out with family & friends, being at Lake Tahoe anytime of the year, & traveling. Ms. Kathy enjoys seeing new places, reading a good book, & Bible study.
FROM MS. KATHY:
“I feel I am so blessed to be working at Little Lites. It’s such a loving environment, & getting to be with all the children each day is so fun! They make me laugh & keep me young!”
